Meet Molly Frances Harwell

So...I said in the last post that Molly wouldn't be here until September 1st. But almost immediately after I posted that, I got a call from my doctor who said we could induce on Thursday, August 31st. So...we did. We went to Athens Region Medical Center at 6am on Thursday morning. We had a great day of waiting on Molly's arrival. When it came time to push for Molly to be born, she just couldn't take the stress. Her heart just didn't enjoy the pushing...so the doctor asked if we'd be willing to have a c-section. Of course, we were willing! Anything to have our girl here - safe and healthy.

Mission accomplished. Molly Frances Harwell arrived (via c-section) at 8:20pm on Thursday, August 31st. 6 lbs, 10 oz. 18 1/2 inches long. She's just beautiful! She has her dad's nose and eyes...and her mom's mouth. She's got a head full of hair. She is a very contented baby (so far.) And we were able to bring her home today - Sunday, September 3rd.

See for yourself how lovely our Molly is!

These pictures were taken in the nursery...right after she was born. The paparazzi snapping her pictures were about to incur her wrath!

Of course, Molly can't stay mad for long...she's got the sweetest disposition...and she quickly makes amends with her daddy.

We promise to try our best to keep new pictures on this page! Thanks for being so caring and for being interested in our little one's arrival. We are so grateful for the love and support of our family and friends. If you haven't met her yet, come to Athens and see her...you'll be just as in love as we are!
