Overheard at Home 5/31/2011

Let's set the scene...Sam in the kitchen melting down in an exhausted, end-of-the-day temper tantrum.

Mo: You know what Sam needs, Mama?
Me: What?
Mo: He needs to take a control class. So he can learn how to control hisself.
Me: Uh, huh. Control class, huh?
Mo: Yea. I can teach him. (pause) I'm a natural born leader who can teach him to control hisself and not have a tantrum like that. (pause again) Yea. I'm a natural born leader.

Seriously, people. You can't make this stuff up.
