Mo: Mom, what is an art-fact?
Me: An art-fact? You mean, art-i-fact?
Mo: Yeah. That's it art-i-fact.
Me: Well, a lot of times it's something that's old that is also valuable or rare, and it tells us about the past.
Mo: Oh. (thinking) Hey, Mom. Does that mean that Granny is an artifact?
I suppose it does.
