Bowl-A-Rama 2008!

Thanks to everyone who made Bowl-A-Rama 2008 a huge success! We had 6 marathon bowlers (David, Brent, Anna, J. Rich, Jason & me) who committed to bowl 100 frames each. (That works out to 10 games.) If you're good at math, you'd know that is 600 frames and 60 games total. Well, these marathon bowlers are not slouches (save me), so the combined frames actually bowled was 650 frames! That's 65 games in just 2 1/2 hours. Now, none of us could move our arms or walk on Sunday...but that's neither here nor there. (That one was for you, Anna.)

Enjoy the pictures!

As you can see, there were many little ones at this year's event. Molly and her friend, Eli, even bowled. Not sure how, but Mo scored better than most of her mother's games. (I think it had to do with the assistance of a bowling ramp.) Sure the ball weighs as much as her, but why should she get special help? Next year, we're thinking of having a kids' event...the Weebuilt Snack-A-Thon. There is one recurring child in these pictures...see if you can pick her out! ha ha

The night before Bowl-A-Rama, the Herndon family stayed at our house. It's always fun to be with dear friends who are more like family than guests. Molly and Eli particularly enjoyed their time together.
