We spent the 4th of July weekend in Blowing Rock. We thoroughly enjoyed our break from the heat. (We peaked out at 72 degrees at our house and only about 80 degrees in town for the big parade.) I don't think I've ever worn jeans and long-sleeves for fireworks before this trip. It was great!
