End of School & Celebrating Gram

We've had an eventful week around here.  School got out last Wednesday, and Mo is now officially on her way to FIRST grade. First grade.  Sheesh. How did that happen so fast?

We also ran into Sam's BFF after school.  BIG fun!

 The next morning, we hit up a favorite breakfast spot in town for donuts. Yum.

Later, we loaded up and headed to Columbus.  Gram celebrated a "milestone" birthday, and we enjoyed having a little extra time to celebrate with her - and play at her house.

Gram made her this "hawaiian dress" out of a long skirt.  Sassy.

But the most fun thing we did all weekend was have a birthday party for Gram.  We took her to dinner...

then did some family photos in the backyard...

then completely surprised her by inviting her friends over for dessert and a birthday celebration.

It was fun to really surprise her.  She's hard to pull one over on, so we were proud that she had no clue what was coming until she opened the door to see her friends standing there.
