Molly was telling knock-knock "jokes" at the table at dinner. (Note that the quotation marks are intentional - meaning at this stage most of our "jokes" are not jokes at all...but statements that make no sense that we're supposed to find as funny as she does.)
Not to be outdone, little brother joined in:
Sam: Knock, knock.
Jason: Who's there?
Sam: Narwhal.
I'm not going to bother finishing the joke. The rest of it wasn't that funny. I think this speaks for itself.
